This Sunday I finally reached level 40 with my Witch Hunter. My Tradeskill is also already at 200(scavenging). Currently Iam thinking about what other Tradeskill I might take.
Also, My Guild Awaken is very very close to rank 23 (95% I guess) which means we are the highest ranked Guild in Germany and top10 in Europe.
First of all, I will show you some screenshots of my look with lvl40.

There is also a video of my lvl40 gain where I backstab a lvl40 Zealot who is getting chainhealed by a lvl40 Shaman while a lvl40 Marauder is disarming and hitting me.

I recommend to download it because the streamquality sucks.

As you can see we die at the same time, which shows the current situation of this class. It is by far the best in killing single targets as fast as possible, but as fast as it can kill, as squishey it is. We really need more survivability.

In the next days I will post some advice about specs and playstyle

Memory lags and how to fix it

Here is a little advice about how to handle the memory lags which appear after some hours of playing war.
First of all, it seems that this problem has to do with the addons everybody has installed. After some hours of playing the addon memory is simply “full”. A simple “/reload ui” in the chatbox resolves this problem. (It might be possible this command doesnt work for you, because its a feature of the Clear Unitframes Addon I linked some threads below. So download it if your war doesnt provide the slash command).

Tier 4 Area Incoming!

I reached rank32 (with renown rank 27, very close to 28) and finished the tier3 area.

Now its time for the last area war provides. Prepare for some great open rvr action and incredible Public Quests.
After playing the Witch Hunter for 32 ranks and 3 tiers, I will start writing a little guide about how to lvl and pvp with this kind of archtype.

Ok, here is an update about the last few days in war!

Currently iam rank 29 and due to my friend Kevin aka Mijuu/Kenzo Iam in the highest ranked Guild on the server. Guild rank atm is 17, which means we are already able to wear the guild banner on our capes.

Since yesterday the T3 scenarios open instantly, so lvling will be very easy until rank32. The days before I did many chapter 10-14 Quests and nearly every public quest in this area.

I have installed some addons from war.curse.com and I can recommend the folowing

My current PvP expressions are that the destruction Marauder is BY FAR the most overpowered class in this game. He has got at least the dmg output of my Witch Hunter but medium armor and a large healing and armor debuff on enemys. Most Scenarios are designed to give a slight advantage for destruction. You can especially see it in T3 Tor Anoc, were the middle for destru is much closer than for order.
Today we played about 60 Tor Anoc games with White Lion(double sprint) and Guildstandard(25% run speed) and did not lose a single game.
For my lucky pleasure I was able to loot the T3 Witch Hunter PvP Boots, so I have got 3/4 T3

What have I done!?

Ok, you havn’t read anything since few days due to the War Headstart, so I will inform you what I have done.
I decided to play Order because on every (really every) server Destruction population is 70%+ and to be honest, running within a Destruction zerg vs 5 dwarfs s u x.

On the first day I created a male dwarf runepriest because I thought “hey its cool to play a support class”.
I reached rank12 very fast. On the second day I deleted the dwarf. why?

it sucks to watch healthbars all the day
dwarfs are fat and ugly

After deleting my first char, I created a Witch Hunter yesterday (pretty cool class!) and reached rank14. If you ask yourself “how the fuck did he level so fast?” I can give you the tip to join some scenarios. It’s very good exp and much fun.
I don’t have any screenshot yet because I always forget to take some, but I promise to post them later.

last hours in the Open Beta…War is going live tomorrow!

Below is a an official statement about the next war steps and some screenshots of my last hours in the Open Beta of War.

We will close the open beta servers on Saturday afternoon at 15:00 CET. We thank you for the time you spent in the game and for your feedback which helped us to apply the last layer of polish.

If you own a Collector’s Edition Pre-Order you will be able to enter your head start code on Sunday at 1:00am CET. Also, you will be able to register your bonus items at that time. The head start for the owners of a Collector’s Edition Pre-Order will begin on Sunday afternoon.

If you own a Standard Edition Pre-Order you will be able to enter your head start code and your bonus item code on Monday at 9:00am CET. You will be able to log into the game and play as soon as your code has been validated.

Remains to be seen if we are really possible to start point 9:00am CET or if another disaster of GOA incompetence is coming.
Currently Iam 90% sure of playing a Desctruction Goblin Shaman, but as you know this might change from minute to minute

time to test Order!

After playing my goblin shaman the last two days, I decided to test Order by playing a Witch Hunter.
The most important thing I have noticed so far is the fact, that scenario invite times for Order are instant (for Destruction its like 15+min). This is a very good argument for playing Order (the underdog) since lvling in scenarios is the fastest way to reach rank40 in my opinion.

The Witch Hunter is a very versatile class because he has got a dagger or sword and a pistol to shot enemys from far away. By using your dagger, you collect combo points. These combopoints can be used to perform “executions” (HIGH damage spells) with your pistol. I really loved to play this class and if I decide to play Order, this will definitely be the one I choose.
